The five (5) Volunteer Fire Departments that provide fire and rescue service to the citizens of Butler Township are:

To report an emergency in Butler Township you must dial 9-1-1.  Listed below are the non-emergency number of the five (5) Volunteer Fire Departments.  Do not call these numbers to report an emergency.

One (1) mill of real estate tax that is designated for fire protection.
 
There are approximately 163 men and women volunteers that provide emergency service responses to the residents of Butler Township.
 
In the year of 2009, in addition to responding to 1,620 incidents the Fire Departments spent 11,375 hours of training.
 
Any person desiring to become a member of the Volunteer Fire Departments in Butler Township should contact the Fire Chiefs.  Being a member of a volunteer Fire Department is a way to volunteer your time and talents for your community and to make new friends.
