The Police Department is located on the Whitestown Road side of the Municipal Building. There are 22 full time police officers, two (2) part time Animal Control Officers, and two (2) clerical support staff to protect and serve the residents. The Department is an active member of the County Drug Task Force. The Department also performs in various Crime Watch programs and the Officer Phil Elementary School programs. The Township Police responded to over 7,267 incidents in 2009, being dispatched through 9-1-1 (Butler County Emergency Management Center).
